The American Youth Council is a 501 (c)(3) public charity.  Our mission is to help kids participate in community service and charity. We develop events, programs and products that celebrate young people, and that enable them to help others.

Since 2008 we have focused on Community Service for young people and we have served over 100,000 visitors to our site.  We provide helpful tips, and project ideas in our Resource Center.  Our blog highlights the accomplishments of students and their local projects, plus a look at community service heroes through the ages in our 'Do Good Chronicles' project.

Since 2018 we have provided job search information to over 10,000 teens using our website Teen Jobs center.

Now in 2021 we are adding another important tool for teens - a College Prep center where we provide information and tools for taking college entrance exams.
